Crimson Moon Character Creation Explained

What you choose before a hunt, what replaces class selection and what is currently confirmed about character customization.

Quick answer

Crimson Moon does not begin with a traditional class choice. The official materials collected for this guide define your Nephilim through equipment, Weapon Arts, Boons and an Angel; they do not document a full appearance editor.

What is confirmed

You play a Nephilim, a human–angel hybrid serving the Order of the Crimson Moon. Rather than selecting a permanent class, you prepare a loadout and choose an Angel before entering a hunt.

Equipment is the practical form of character creation: weapons determine available Weapon Arts, armour and trinkets add stats and effects, and later Boons shape the current run.

Appearance customization

The official gameplay and beginner materials currently archived by this site do not describe a detailed face, body or voice editor. Until an official menu or support article documents those options, this guide will not invent a feature list.

Field note: This page will be updated when confirmed appearance options are documented. Build customization is fully confirmed; a traditional cosmetic character creator is not described in our current sources.

Your meaningful early choices

  • Choose a weapon moveset you can control consistently.
  • Check the Weapon Arts attached to each weapon.
  • Select an Angel that complements your preferred risk level.
  • Build around one clear effect instead of mixing every damage type.

No. Crimson Moon uses classless builds.

Can you customize your face and body?
