Crimson Moon supports one player solo or two players in online co-op. It does not use four-player parties or local split-screen in the currently documented modes.
Playing solo
The complete hunt structure is available to a solo player. Enemy pressure and mission difficulty scale for that mode, so co-op is optional rather than a requirement for progression.
Two-player online co-op
A second Nephilim can join for online hunts. The game scales encounters, and both players draw from the same life pool. A fallen partner can be revived, but repeated deaths move the entire team closer to a failed run.
Build for the party
- Coordinate elemental effects instead of competing for unrelated triggers.
- Keep one reliable control or defensive option available.
- Call out elite targets and revive windows.
- Avoid spending shared lives on optional fights when the team is already depleted.
